I grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota and obtained my B.A. in chemistry from St. Olaf College in 2017. There, I conducted research on nickel-catalyzed couplings with Professor Dipannita Kalyani and Professor Daniel Everson. After a stint in industry working as an analytical chemist for Medtronic, I came to Illinois, where I am currently co-advised by Professor Sarlah and Professor Denmark. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, and running.
