Casey Olen has been selected for an internship at Dow Chemical starting August 2022. Casey will bring his chemoinformatics knowledge to the materials world.  His work will seek to model structure-property relationships of polymers with a goal of identifying new candidates with improved material properties. Congratulations Casey!

Former Denmark graduate student Connor Delaney (currently postdoc at UC-Berkeley with John Hartwig) and Alex Shved teamed up with Stanford graduate student Danny Marron in a tour-de-force study of the mechanism of the anhydrous Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction in which they also identified an unprecedented dinuclear palladium complex resting state (read the full article: doi/10.1021/jacs.1c08283).
