As a Lane Tech alumnus, Jakub was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Although Polish was his first language, he is fluent in English as well. Jakub hopes that his time as a research undergraduate will help furnish his skills before going to graduate school. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing basketball and golf, cooking, and making music.
