I was born in Dallas Texas and graduated from The University of North Texas with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry in 2018. As an undergraduate, my research focused on the syntheses of bis(perfluoroalkyl)-pyrazole and triazole ligand species with unique hydrophobic properties when incorporated into Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). My research interests include organo-fluorine chemistry, methodology, total synthesis, catalysts, and reaction discovery. I enjoy spending my time playing the piano, writing music, going on hikes, coding video games, spending time with friends, and baking.
