I was born in Shiraz, Iran, and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Tehran, where I conducted research in Prof. Mehdi Adib’s laboratory on the synthesis of isoindolinones as urease inhibitors. In 2019, I joined Prof. Babak Borhan’s group at Michigan State University to pursue my Ph.D., where my research focused on the asymmetric total synthesis of (+)-napyradiomycin A1. In parallel with my primary project, I collaborated with Dr. William Wulff to build a comprehensive database of all reported total syntheses published in 2011 and developed a user-friendly, prompt-oriented electronic lab notebook tailored for organic synthesis research.

In 2026, I joined Prof. Denmark’s laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher.
Outside the laboratory (and sometimes inside), I enjoy reciting Persian poetry, studying piano repertoire, reading books, and taking long walks.
